Energy from the sun, delivered via a photovoltaic system, can provide a source of green electricity and also, thanks to the government Feed in Tariffs, a guaranteed source of income. The sun is, for all intents and purposes, an inexhaustible source of energy, and it’s not going away any time soon. We barely use the tiniest fraction of the incoming irradiation received from the sun every day. Our PV systems are designed to last a long time and require no maintenance. An installed solar power plant can also increase the value of a property thanks to the income that it delivers via the Feed in Tariffs.
Solar PV is one of the lowest impact and most ecologically sound methods of energy extraction, helping minimise carbon emissions. Each kilowatt-peak (kWp) of electricity produced can save approximately 450kg of CO2 compared with electricity generated from fossil fuels. The solar PV system is also almost entirely recyclable when its service life ends.
Solar PV systems also help us reduce dependence on overseas energy sources while also insulating against the impact of increased electricity prices.
